TOUR TRANSALP 2021 cancelled!

TOUR Transalp 2021 cancelled: new date for 2022 set. From 19th-25th June 2022 the TOUR Transalp starts over again Europe’s favourite racing bike stage race will unfortunately not take place this year. Due to the still challenging global pandemic development, the organizers have decided to cancel the 18. edition of the TOUR Transalp in 2021. 

The responsibility of running an event of this size is particularly high in these times. Every year, several hundred participants from more than 30 different nations take part in the TOUR Transalp, the popular stage race through the Alps. Along that there are several helpers involved in the implementation of the event. For the sake of everyone's health, we have decided to cancel the seven-day race through the highlands.

But the organizers won’t give up and will do everything they are capable of to hold the TOUR Transalp from 19th-25th of June in 2022. They firmly believe that the TOUR Transalp will take place under better conditions in the upcoming year. This new date also returns the stage race to its traditional staging time. So in 2022, the popular racing bike experience in the Alps will once again take place in classic early summer time and will additionally bring along many exciting innovations and spectacular highlights. During the Tour Transalp 2022, participants can not only expect the famous Alpine passes and cultural highlights, but also lonely little roads through the remote villages of the high mountains as well as completely new stage locations and route sections.

The TOUR Transalp is Europe’s greatest stage race through the Alps and it fascinates the race bike scene from multiple nations for more than 18 years now. Up to 1000 racing bike enthusiasts take the challenge of crossing the Alps every year: only with their own muscle strength. More than 780 kilometres of distance
